About Tarah Michele

Tarah has been a go-getter since before she began her career in television. After graduating from Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, Tarah was immediately hired full time at Discovery Channel. At Discovery Studios, Tarah began developing television series when she was just an assistant. Creating, casting and storytelling quickly became Tarah's obsession.

Working in production at companies like Offspring Entertainment, Critical Content, and 495 Productions gave Tarah the experience she needed to apply for a traveling producer gig with Yoga Journal Magazine in 2016. Out of over one thousand applicants, Tarah was selected to travel the country as an on-camera host and executive producer. She conducted hundreds of interviews over the course of six months, researching the ins and outs of the health and wellness industry.

Tarah returned to Seattle after working with Yoga Journal and immediately began producing commercials with brands like Hint Water, Premera Blue Cross, AAA, T-fal, and Tomorrow Ideas. She led a large team to produce television commercials that gathered significant viewership and robust returns.

Not withholding her ambition for the big screen, Tarah connected with The Design Network, a streaming OTT television platform all about interior design and home. During her tenure as the Director of Programming, Tarah led the production and launch of over seven streaming television series, including one of which she starred in called "Design Buzz Season 2," currently on air. She was responsible for all series episodes, ensuring they met quality standards, storytelling tone, and energy. Her career then took her to Seattle Coffee Gear, where she led the social media marketing initiatives and launched a brand new creator program, all while providing on-camera work for their YouTube channel. Her efforts with the Seattle Coffee Gear social media channels increased their Instagram reach by 75%, followers by 26%, TikTok views by 4.7M, and YouTube views by over 120M, also doubling subscribership in less than one year. Today, Tarah is the manager of social strategy and leads the influencer marketing program at GRIT Capital, where she leads both online marketing and influencer campaigns for a total audience of 8M+.
